The Problem

B2B2C is hard marketing, even when you are selling a very traditional product like windows and doors. The buyers aren't the end users. There are long legacies of consultant relations and dealer networks.

How does a business like that design a website? Who is the site for, anyway?

The Approach

Research, research research.

The Solution

Intercept and interview website visitors. Build persona documents. Recruit representative participants. 2 weeks of usability testing in our lab.

The Results

A project summary is in the deck below, but we ended up providing a new IA and navigation for the site, a prototype for a new product page template, and most importantly, the recommendation to NOT move forward building a flashy new feature that no one would use. Get in touch if you'd like to hear more about this project.
